As a teen I was difficult to deal with, rebelling with/ without cause. It was around the time I heard ‘somewhere I belong’ expressing everything I couldn't communicate. It gave much needed sense of belonging anyone my age (that time) searched for and since then ‘Meteora’ is never off the playlist.
I have religiously followed this band (Linkin Park) the first music ever to fall in love with, wish he knew what an impact he had in my life growing up, I spend hours under the pillow screaming songs, they told me I wasn’t the only one. It was heartbreaking to hear news on Chester, to find out about the hero who got me through so much was no more. His departure felt like a personal loss.

This is where I think he is, happy, smiling above the blue sky, free from all the pain carried for so long. .
